The invention discloses a vehicle control system and method based on vehicle exterior environment perception, and relates to the field of vehicle control. The system includes a millimeter wave module,an ultrasonic module, a controller and an execution mechanism, wherein the millimeter wave module is arranged on an outer vehicle body of a vehicle and is used for detecting obstacles in the environment outside the vehicle to obtain a first detection result; the ultrasonic module is arranged on the outer vehicle body of the vehicle and used for detecting the obstacles in the environment outside the vehicle to obtain a second detection result; and the controller is used for making the executing mechanism execute preset functions according to the first detection result and the second detectionresult. Real-time detection of environmental obstacles outside the vehicle is achieved, detection is performed through the detection modules of the two wave bands, the positions of the obstacles are comprehensively judged, detection accuracy can be effectively improved, corresponding functions are completed through the execution mechanism, and driving safety can be improved.

    本发明公开了一种基于车外环境感知的车辆控制系统及方法,涉及车辆控制领域。该系统包括:毫米波模块、超声波模块、控制器和执行机构,其中,毫米波模块设置在车辆的外车身,用于探测车外环境内的障碍物,得到第一探测结果,超声波模块设置在车辆的外车身,用于探测车外环境内的障碍物,得到第二探测结果,控制器用于根据第一探测结果和第二探测结果控制执行机构执行预设功能。本发明不仅实现了车外环境障碍的实时检测,还通过两种波段的探测模块进行探测,综合判断障碍物的位置,能够有效提高探测的准确率,并通过执行机构完成对应的功能,能够提高行车的安全性。
