The invention discloses a college student formula racing car braking mechanism based on an EBS system. The college student formula racing car braking mechanism comprises a front cabin braking assemblyand a side box braking assembly, wherein the front cabin brake assembly comprises a first fixing base, a first main cylinder, a second main cylinder, two first oil pots, a first pedal arm and a pedalpiece, wherein the side box brake assembly comprises a second fixing base, a third main cylinder, a fourth main cylinder, two second oil pots, a second pedal arm and air cylinders, a telescopic end of the air cylinders are connected with the second pedal arm, the third main cylinder is connected with the first main cylinder through a first multi-way joint, and the fourth main cylinder is connected with the second main cylinder through a second multi-way joint. The college student formula racing car braking mechanism is advantaged in that the air cylinders are distributed on the side box brakeassembly, influence of the front cabin space on the arrangement of the air cylinders in the brake mechanism is reduced, flexible installation is achieved, a problem of air cylinder tension caused byspace limitation is solved, and safety is high; in addition, the main cylinders of the front cabin brake assembly and the side box brake assembly are connected in parallel to form a double-main-cylinder oil way through a breakover valve, and brake control ways are increased.
