The invention discloses a vehicle running control system and method. A current vehicle running deceleration and a theoretical deceleration are calculated according to acquired input variables such asrunning speed, brake pedal travel, running mass, running gradient and the like so as to calculate the attenuation degree of the brake performance. The maximum allowable safety vehicle speed under thecurrent braking performance is calculated according to the attenuation degree of the braking performance of the vehicle, the driving mass, the driving slope and the like of the vehicle, and the allowable maximum driving speed of the vehicle is limited by controlling an engine, a gearbox and the like, so that the driving safety of the vehicle is actively controlled. The vehicle braking performancecan be detected at any time, the defect that the braking deceleration of the vehicle cannot be comprehensively evaluated in real time in the prior art is overcome, and the detection result accuracy is high.

    本发明公开了一种车辆行驶控制系统及方法,根据采集的行驶速度、制动踏板行程、行驶质量、行驶坡度等输入变量,计算当前车辆行驶减速度和理论减速度,从而计算出制动性能的衰减程度。根据车辆制动性能衰减程度,以及车辆的行驶质量、行驶坡度等,计算出当前制动性能下的最高允许安全车速,通过控制发动机、变速箱等限制车辆的允许最高行驶速度,从而主动控制车辆的行驶安全。本发明可以随时的检测车辆制动性能,解决现有技术中无法全面、实时评估车辆的制动减速度的不足,检测结果准确度高。
