The invention relates to a walking stick, in particular to a self-standing walking stick based on a capsule robot. The walking stick comprises a walking stick body and a handle and further comprises acapsule robot, the walking stick body is a cylindrical shell, and the capsule robot is installed in the shell; the capsule robot enables the walking stick to automatically keep a vertical state afterthe walking stick is released from the hand, so that a user can temporarily release hands to handle things. An STM32 microprocessor is electrically connected with a heart rate and breath monitoring module, a blood pressure and pulse blood oxygen monitoring module, a GPS and Beidou double-positioning module, a Bluetooth wireless module, a wireless access transmitting module, a night signal lamp module, a voice prompt module and a screen display module. A user can go out at night conveniently, and lighting and warning lamp functions and an intelligent user important sign index detection function are provided; it is ensured that abnormal data of the user can be found in time and warning information can be given in time; the GPS and Beidou double-positioning module is more accurate and reliable, and records the outgoing path of the user, thereby facilitating the searching of relatives.
