The invention relates to a saw cutting mechanism of a pruning robot. The saw cutting mechanism of the pruning robot comprises a pipe frame capable of being arranged on a tree trunk in a penetrated andsleeving way, wherein a cutting saw is arranged on the pipe frame, and comprises a chain saw; the chain saw is rotatably arranged on a saw plate; the saw plate is abutted against the tree trunk; thechain saw is arranged in the edge position of the saw plate and performs saw cutting operation on a combination position of a branch and the trunk; a branch contact mechanism is arranged on the pipe frame; after the branch contact mechanism is abutted against the branch, the chain saw is separated from the saw plate, and the chain saw is elastically abutted against the tree trunk; a tree climbingmechanism drags the pipe frame to vertically move; and the saw cutting operation is performed on the combination position of the branch and the trunk. The saw cutting mechanism has the advantages thatthe effective and complete saw cutting operation on the tree branch and trunk can be effectively realized; the effective cutting operation on the tree branch and trunk is guaranteed; and the later-period growth quality of trees is further guaranteed.
