The invention relates to the technical field of robots, and more specifically, relates to an underwater operation robot. The robot comprises a fixing support, a sealed cabin, a mechanical arm, a firstpropeller and a second propeller. The sealed cabin is installed in the middle of the fixing support, the mechanical arm is installed on the front portion of the fixing support, the first propeller isinstalled on the rear portion of the fixing support, the second propeller is installed on the upper portion of the fixing support, and the propelling directions of the two sets of propellers are perpendicular to each other. An observation device used for detecting the underwater environment is installed in the sealed cabin, and the observation device is connected to an upper computer and uploadsmonitored data to the upper computer. The underwater environment is observed in real time through the observation device, the movement direction of the underwater operation robot can be controlled through the first propeller and the second propeller, underwater objects are grabbed through the mechanical arm to execute tasks and detect water quality information, the observation device and the mechanical arm are used for replacing human beings to execute various underwater tasks with special requirements, and the safety is high.
