The invention discloses a liquid cooling cable for a new energy electric vehicle charging socket. The liquid cooling cable comprises a socket shell, a DC+ liquid cooling jack, a DC- liquid cooling jack and a plurality of signal lines, wherein the DC+ liquid cooling jack and the DC- liquid cooling jack are arranged in the socket shell; the cable further comprises two liquid cooling electrodes connected with the DC+ pole and the DC- pole of a vehicle-mounted battery pack, and two liquid cooling cables connected between the DC+ liquid cooling jack and the DC+ liquid cooling electrode and betweenthe DC- liquid cooling jack and the DC- liquid cooling electrode respectively. The liquid cooling cable comprises a soft wire used for electric conduction, a cooling liquid inner channel used for cooling the soft wire, and a cooling liquid outer channel. The ends, connected with the liquid cooling electrodes, of the cooling liquid inner channel and the cooling liquid outer channel communicate witha liquid inlet and a liquid outlet correspondingly, and the ends, connected with the liquid cooling jacks, of the cooling liquid inner channel and the cooling liquid outer channel communicate with the communicating cavity. On the premise that the diameter of an existing cable is not increased, the current borne by the charging cable is increased to 600A from 250A, it can be guaranteed that the temperature rise of the charging cable is within a controllable range, and meanwhile the requirement of a user for the charging time of an electric automobile is met.
