The invention relates to a pull-type device for lifting a heavy object at a constant speed, and belongs to the technical field of automatic machines and equipment. The device is composed of a power module, a one-way transmission module, a rope winding module and a fixed supporting module, wherein a driving shaft can be driven by a motor to rotate at the constant speed all the time, an output shaftrotates at the variable speed all the time due to the slipping characteristic of a torque limiter, and the heavy object can ascend and descend at the constant speed through constant-speed rotation ofthe driving shaft and variable-speed rotation of the output shaft. Gear transmission is speed reduction transmission, the diameter of a winding rope of a winch is larger than that of a pulley, and therefore the speed of the winding rope of the winch is larger than the ascending speed of the heavy object. When the resisting moment generated by tension of a steel wire rope at the upper end is larger than the rated moment of the torque limiter, the torque limiter slips, a driven shaft and the output shaft rotate at the differential speed, the rotating speed of the winch is decreased, and therefore the steel wire rope is kept in a tensioned state all the time. The steel wire rope is wound around a pulley block at the lower end at the constant speed, and therefore the heavy object can ascend and descend at the constant speed.
