The invention provides a two-cavity driver air bag. The two-cavity driver air bag comprises a central inner cavity, an edge outer cavity and an air generator, wherein the edge outer cavity is of an annular structure and is sleeved on the outer wall of the central inner cavity, the common surface of the central inner cavity and the edge outer cavity is cylindrical, the central inner cavity and theedge outer cavity are coaxial, the central inner cavity is connected with the edge outer cavity, the central inner cavity is communicated with the edge outer cavity, the edge outer cavity is providedwith one or more outer cavity air leakage holes, and the gas generator is arranged in the central inner cavity. The two-cavity driver air bag solves the technical problem that due to the fact that anair bag of a traditional safety air bag is thick in the middle and thin in the edge, in the collision process, the head of a passenger usually makes contact with the thick position of the center of the air bag, the chest makes contact with the edge of the air bag, and finally the traditional safety air bag cannot effectively protect the chest of the human body.

    本发明提供了一种两腔驾驶员安全气囊,包括中心内腔、边缘外腔及气体发生器;边缘外腔为环形结构,边缘外腔套设在中心内腔的外壁,中心内腔与边缘外腔的共用面为圆柱形,中心内腔与边缘外腔同轴心,中心内腔与边缘外腔连接,中心内腔与边缘外腔连通,边缘外腔上设有一个或多个外腔泄气孔,气体发生器设置在中心内腔内部。本发明所述的一种两腔驾驶员安全气囊,解决了由于传统的安全气囊的气袋中间厚而边缘薄的现象,导致在碰撞过程中,乘员头部通常接触气袋中心较厚位置而胸部接触气袋边缘位置,最终导致传统的安全气囊不能够对人体胸部进行有效保护的技术问题。
