The invention relates to a high-order MFAC method and system for a ship pod SSP propeller. The system is characterized in that a speed outer ring is formed by a high-order MFAC controller and is used for generating expected quadrature axis reference current i<*>; inner loop circuit regulation is still implemented by a PI controller; voltage components ud and uq in a rotating coordinate system are generated; and speed and torque feedback value are acquired by a STF observer. The controller provided by the invention decreases the number of parameters required to be set by a speed loop controller from two to one, simplifies the design of a propulsion motor controller, is low in overshoot, fast in dynamic response, and good in anti-interference performance and robustness.
