The invention discloses a steel plate lifting appliance provided with two height-adjustable ends. The steel plate lifting appliance comprises a first I beam, lifting lugs, a sling connected with the lifting lugs, electric hoists, a second I beam connected to cable wires of the electric hoists and steel plate grippers, wherein steel plates are fixed through the steel plate grippers, and U-shaped grip fingers are pushed by cylinders to move along guide rails, so that the steel plate grippers grip the steel plates; the steel plates can be stacked for multiple layers on the U-shaped grip fingers, accordingly, the steel plate lifting appliance can lift and transport multiple layers of steel plates simultaneously, the production efficiency is higher, the height of two ends of the second I beam can be adjusted by the electric hoists when the to-be-gripped steel plate having different heights at two ends or arranged obliquely is gripped, then the steel plate grippers can reach the grip positions accurately, and the grip operation is simpler.
