The invention discloses a charging framework for an electric vehicle. The charging framework for the electric vehicle comprises a battery pack, an electric energy distributor, a running driving unit and low voltage electric equipment. The battery pack comprises a main battery, a range-extending battery and a sub battery; the main battery provides electric energy needed by daily running of the electric vehicle; the range-extending battery provides electric energy needed by ultra-long distance running of the electric vehicle; and the sub battery provides electric energy needed by emergency short-distance running of the electric vehicle, wherein the main battery and the range-extending battery cannot be charged on the electric vehicle but can be replaced; and the sub battery can be charged on the electric vehicle but cannot be replaced. The main battery and the range-extending battery output electric current to the electric energy distributor; and double-way electric current is available between the electric energy distributor and the sub battery. The running driving unit is used for driving the electric vehicle to run; and double-way electric current is available between the electric energy distributor and the running driving unit. The electric energy distributor is used for outputting electric current to the low voltage electric equipment; and the electric current output by the electric energy distributor is used for driving the low voltage electric equipment to work after the voltage of the electric current is converted. The invention further discloses a battery replacing method for the electric vehicle.
