The invention relates to a virtual-bus-transit-lane-system-based bus transit punctuality rate control method. The method comprises that: step 1, a vehicle-mounted GPS sends bus position information and driving time to a lane road right information indication lamp control unit; step 2, the lane road right information indication lamp control unit analyzes information obtained by the GPS and determines whether a virtual bus transit lane mode needs to be opened; step 3, the lane road right information indication lamp control unit sends information to a lane road right information indication lamp according to a determination result from the step 2; step 4, when the bus arrives at a next stop through the virtual bus transit lane mode, punctuality time and stop arrival time of the bus are compared; and step 5, the above-mentioned steps are repeated to adjust the arrival punctuality rate of the bus continuously. In addition, the invention also includes a system especially for the method. The system consists of lane road right information indication lamps arranged at all intersections of the bus route and a lane road right information indication lamp control unit.
