The invention relates to the technical field of ship design, in particular to a rapid estimation method of an inherent rolling moving period of a conventional ship. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring the following data of B, D, KG and GM0, and then rapidly estimating the inherent rolling moving period T theta of the ship according to a formula shown in the description. The method disclosed by the invention is concise, easy to understand, and accurate and reliable in estimated results. The method overcomes the defects that a conventional estimation method of an inherent rolling period of a conventional ship is inaccurate in estimated results and large in deviation.
