The invention relates to a speed reducer, in particular to a differential planetary reducer applied to a crane and capable of facilitating integrated design. The differential planetary reducer for the crane is composed of a bevel gear differential gear train module, an ordinary gear train module and an output speed governing module. A bevel gear differential gear train is adopted, and the differential planetary reducer has the advantages of being safe, reliable, small in size, high in space utilization rate, capable of achieving four-revolving-speed output and facilitating integrated design and the like.
