The invention discloses a car side-direction anticollision system which comprises a detection system, a control system and a car side-direction anticollision device, wherein the side-direction anticollision device comprises fixed beams, rotating rods, rotary connecting blocks and anticollision pedals; the fixed beams are fixed in the side direction of a car; the rotating rods are movably connected with the fixed beams; the rotary connecting blocks are movably connected with the rotating rods; the anticollision pedals are connected with the rotary connecting blocks; and after the detection system judges that collision occurs on the side surface of the car, the control system controls the rotating rods to rotate, and the anticollision pedals are turned over to be parallel to the side direction of the car. According to the car side-direction anticollision system, the anticollision pedals on the side surface of a car body are turned over before collision and form a side-direction anticollision panel, so that the integrity of the car body is ensured when the car body undergoes the side-direction collision, a core safety chamber of the car body is protected, and a survival rate in serious side collision is increased.
