The invention discloses an intelligent traffic system capable of automatic control of automobile braking. The system comprises a signal lamp state detection unit, a vehicle detection unit, a vehicle speed detection unit, a GPS positioning unit, an automobile brake unit, a whistling noise acquisition unit, a whistling noise identification unit, a sound source positioning unit, an image acquisition unit and a central control unit. The vehicle speed detection unit, the GPS positioning unit, the automobile brake unit and the image acquisition unit are connected with the central control unit. The whistling noise acquisition unit, the whistling noise identification unit and the noise source positioning unit are successively connected and then are connected with the central control unit through the noise source positioning unit, and the central control unit is in communication connection with a traffic center management unit via a 4G wireless network. According to the invention, the system can automatically perform braking on overspeed vehicles and capturing on whistling vehicles and red light running vehicles, solves the problems of easily occurring rear collision of automobiles and capturing of the whistling vehicles and red light running vehicles, can effectively reduce safety accidents and improves the life environment of residents.
