The present invention pertains to a vehicle power management system for managing the power used to drive an electrical load in a vehicle, said system comprising: a vehicle power management device (1) which controls the flow of electrical energy in the vehicle; a vehicle route information generation device (2) which generates a travel route for the vehicle; a drive device (5) which consumes power to drive the vehicle; a power generation device (6); an electrical load device group (10); a high voltage power storage device (7) which stores power that is used to drive the vehicle; a low voltage power storage device (9) which stores power used in the operation of the electrical load device group (10); and a direct current voltage conversion/output device (8) which performs voltage conversion on power stored in the high voltage power storage device (7) and generates and outputs a direct current voltage to be used in the operation of the electrical load device group (10). If there is an increase in the power consumed in driving, which is predicted by the driving power consumption pattern prediction unit (201), the vehicle power management device (1) stops the direct current voltage conversion/output device (8) and stops the supply of power to the electrical load device group (10) from the high voltage power storage device (7).
