The invention discloses a highway traffic information acquisition node nonequidistance optimized layout method, which comprises the following steps: 1) equidistance dispersion treatment is carried out on a road section, and an information acquisition node alternative is built; 2) an average simulation speed at a certain time interval is recorded, a speed difference variance sigmadeltavi<2> of two adjacent acquisition nodes is calculated, and a variance curve chart is drawn; 3) the node with the larger speed difference variance in the two adjacent nodes is moved to the acquisition node optimization scheme; 4) in the alternative, the acquisition node and the adjacent acquisition node are deleted, and a new information acquisition node alternative is built; 5) an average space speed is calculated, and road section travel time t* in the initial scheme is estimated; 6) precision is judged, iteration is carried out, if the estimated travel time t* for the acquisition node road section and actually-measured travel time t are compared to obtain |1-t*/t|</=5%, precision requirements can be met, iteration is stopped, or otherwise, the third step is returned; and 7) the fourth step, the fifth step and the sixth step are repeated until the precision requirements are met and iteration is stopped, and a traffic information acquisition node optimization scheme is given.
