The invention provides a variable-thickness car roof front beam and a manufacturing method thereof. A roof front beam body adopts a thin-walled structure and sequentially comprises a beam body left section, a left transition section, a beam body middle section, a right transition section and a beam body right section, wherein the beam body left section and the beam body right section adopts the equal-thickness structures and are the same in thickness; the roof front beam body forms thickness transition from the beam body left section and the beam body right section to the beam body middle section through the left transition section and the right transition section; the thicknesses of the left transition section and the right transition section are gradually reduced from the thick areas at the two ends to the thin area in the middle of the roof front beam body; and the beam body middle section is designed to be the thinnest of the whole roof front beam. The variable-thickness car roof front beam not only better meets the demand on car security but also is simple in structure; and as the variable-thickness car roof front beam is manufactured by a continuous variable-thickness plate, transitional designs of both material thickness and part number are avoided, so that the manufacturing cost of the roof front beam is lowered and the light-weight effect is good.
