The invention discloses a braking failure monitoring device for an electric automobile motor. The device comprises a data collecting circuit, a fault monitoring circuit and a fault processing circuit, wherein the data collecting circuit comprises a current sensor and a braking pressure switch; the fault detecting circuit comprises an operational amplifier U2A, a voltage comparator U5A, an AND gate U3, a counter U4, a 555 timer A1 and a D trigger U1B; and the fault processing circuit comprises a photoelectric coupler U6, a triode Q1, a relayand a light emitting diode D1. According to the braking failure monitoring device for the electric automobile motor, disclosed by the invention, a vehicle state and a motor state can be simultaneously taken into consideration so as to accurately and rapidly respond to the failure of the motor. The braking failure monitoring device for the electric automobile motor, disclosed by the invention, is advantaged in that the main part adopts a pure-hardware circuit; the device is simply designed; the reliability of the device is high; mounting requirements of the device are low; excessive modificationon the vehicle are not needed; and the replaceability of the device is enhanced because a fault response threshold can be manually adjusted.
