The present invention provides a vehicle tire monitoring apparatus, which is arranged inside a vehicle tire and comprises a distance measuring sensor, a gravity sensor, a controller and a transmitting module, wherein the distance measuring sensor, the gravity sensor, the controller and the transmitting module are fixed on the hub inside the vehicle tire, the distance measuring sensor senses the inner diameters of the hub and the peripheral tire wall in an opening state, the gravity sensor is connected with the distance measuring sensor and senses the rolling position signal of the vehicle tire, the controller is connected with the distance measuring sensor and the gravity sensor, and controls the opening or the closing of the distance measuring sensor according to the rolling position signal, the distance between the distance measuring sensor and the ground is shortest when the vehicle tire rolls to the predetermined position, the controller controls the distance measuring sensor to open and receives the inner diameter signal, and the transmitting module is connected with the controller and transmits the inner diameter signal in a wireless manner. The vehicle tire monitoring apparatus of the present invention is used for monitoring the changes of the inner diameters of the tire wall contacting the ground and the hub so as to accurately reflect the tire pressure, such that the monitoring accuracy is improved.
