The invention discloses a sensing system used for recognizing child seats on the rear row of an automobile. The sensing system comprises a rear-row ISOFIX interface, a vehicle-mounted power source, an electromagnetic relay, an analog-to-digital converter and a safety air bag controller. The rear-row ISOFIX interface is provided with a first conductive part and a second conductive part. One end of the first conductive part is a suspended free end, and the other end of the first conductive part is electrically connected with the positive electrode of the vehicle-mounted power source. The negative electrode of the vehicle-mounted power source is electrically connected with one end of a coil of the electromagnetic relay, and the other end of the coil of the electromagnetic relay is electrically connected with one end of the second conductive part. The other end of the second conductive part is a suspended free end. The suspended free end of the first conducive part and the suspended free end of the second conductive part can be electrically connected through an ISOFIX interface. One end of a switch of the electromagnetic relay is connected with the vehicle-mounted power source. The other end of the switch of the electromagnetic relay is connected with the input end of the analog-to-digital converter. The output end of the analog-to-digital converter is connected with the safety air bag controller. The sensing system can meet the requirement for the function that whether child seats exist on the rear row of the automobile or not can be judged. Impact injuries caused by detonation of a safety air bag to child passengers on the child seats are prevented.
