An unattended system for sensing railway field operation and protection based on a photonic crystal fiber is suitable for the fields of railway construction, optical fiber sensing and the like. The system is composed of a measurement module and a receiving module. The output end of a laser source (1) of the measurement module is connected with the input end of a phase modulator (2), the output end of the phase modulator (2) is connected with the input end of the photonic crystal fiber (3), a vibration signal is exerted on the photonic crystal fiber, the output end of the photonic crystal fiber (3) is connected with the input end of a photoelectric detector (4), the output end of the photoelectric detector (4) is connected with the input end of a signal processing module (5), the output end of the signal processing module (5) is connected with the input end of a wireless transmitting module (6), the output end of a wireless receiving module (7) of the receiving module is connected with the input end of a signal processing module (8), and the output end of the signal processing module (8) is connected with a display module (9) and a loudspeaker (10). According to the invention, the location of a coming vehicle can be accurately located by adopting the photonic crystal fiber sensing technology. The system has the advantages of low energy dependence, electromagnetic interference resistance, corrosion resistance and the like. Accidents caused by a fact that protection personnel cannot timely inform constructors of avoiding at mountain lines and curve districts with poor lookout conditions are avoided.
