The invention relates to the technical field of urban traffic and intercity traffic, in particular to a large-transport-capacity nonstop rail traffic system. The system comprises a main channel, operating carriages, an outbound and inbound channel, a rail and a station. The operating carriages are independent small carriages, and the rail is laid in the main channel; the rail is a power rail which continuously moves at constant speed, and the independent small carriages are placed on corresponding stalls on the rail; the independent small carriages are driven to move forwards at constant speed; the station is connected with the main channel of the power rail through the outbound and inbound channel; one end of the outbound and inbound channel is connected with the station, the other end of the outbound and inbound channel is connected with the main channel, and a communication structure is formed; and connecting devices are arranged on the tops of the independent carriages and are in abutting joint with a connecting structure above the outbound and inbound channel to complete rail changing needs. An independent small carriage mode is adopted, so that everybody is provided with a seat, one-station reaching is achieved, and the stable and continuous forward kinetic energy is provided; no relative displacement exists between the independent small carriages, the high speed under the high-density state can be achieved, and the rail changing is achieved through a three-dimensional rail changing mode.
