The invention provides a novel rearview mirror as well as an application system and application method thereof. The novel rearview mirror comprises a camera, an inductor, a first processing module and a transmission module, wherein the camera is arranged on a rearview mirror and used for recording traveling states of front cars or rear cars, and/or current traveling road conditions; the inductor is arranged on the rearview mirror and used for sensing living bodies surrounding the car so as to obtain induction information; the first processing module is connected with the camera and the inductor respectively and used for processing the information acquired by the camera and the inductor separately so as to generate information data corresponding to the acquired information; the transmission module is connected with the processing module and used for transmitting the information data to a monitoring terminal. The novel rearview mirror disclosed by the invention solves the problem that the car rearview mirror has visual blind areas is solved. According to the novel rearview mirror, the observation of all-direction scenes for cars is realized by utilizing an intelligent technique, so that drivers can be helped to know the situations surrounding the cars, including the blind areas, and the driving safety is further guaranteed.
