The invention provides a hybrid thermophotovoltaic power driving system for an electric vehicle, which comprises a solar condensation device, a fuel combustion device, a thermophotovoltaic generating set, an electric motor, a storage battery and a power supply management device. The solar condensation device arranged at the top end condenses the sunlight incoming from top to bottom by reflection or refraction so as to enable energy of the sunlight to be centralized and the energy of the sunlight is input to the thermophotovoltaic generating set to be subjected to photovoltaic conversion; in the same way, the fuel combustion device converts chemical energy of fuel into heat energy by combustion and the heat energy is input into the thermophotovoltaic generating set to be subjected to photovoltaic conversion; output electric energy drives the electric motor to work and residual electric energy is stored in the storage battery. The hybrid thermophotovoltaic power driving system adopts a thermophotovoltaic power generation mode of combining solar energy and fuel combustion heat energy, not only utilizes the characteristics of cleanness and environmental-friendliness, but also overcomes the defect of insufficient power when single solar energy is adopted to generate electricity, and finds the balance point of economy and practicality; moreover, the hybrid thermophotovoltaic power driving system has the characteristics of no vibration and low noise.
