The invention discloses rubber for an automobile tire. The rubber is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 25-35 parts of 1,3-butadiene, 25-35 parts of styrene, 20-26 parts of nickel naphthenate, 15-19 parts of triisobutylaluminum, 8-12 parts of ethylene, 8-12 parts of propylene, 10-16 parts of dicyclopentadiene, 5-9 parts of chlorobutadiene, 3-5 parts of rosin, 3-5 parts of ethylidene norbornene, 20-24 parts of 1,4-hexadiene, 12-16 parts of zinc oxide, 5-8 parts of clay, 7-12 parts of barite, 7-15 parts of carbon black, 5-9 parts of 2, 6-di-t-butyl-4-methylphenol, 3-5 parts of toluene and 1-2 parts of toluene-heptane. The rubber for the automobile tire, which is disclosed by the invention, has the beneficial effects that toughness and wear resistance of the tire are maintained and meanwhile, the heat resistance of the rubber is significantly improved and can reach 2-3 times of that of commercially available similar products after testing so that the driving safety is improved.
