The invention discloses a method for assembling an automobile back anti-collision beam energy absorption box. The energy absorption box comprises a front supporting plate, a back supporting plate and an energy absorption box body. A plurality of outwards-extending tongue pieces are arranged at the end of the energy absorption box body, the front supporting plate is provided with clamping grooves used for being aligned with the tongue pieces in position, and the tongue pieces are inserted into the clamping grooves. When assembling is carried out, the tongue pieces at the end of the energy absorption box body are aligned with and inserted into the clamping grooves in the front supporting plate, then the tongue pieces are bent by 90 degrees to form buckles, and the energy absorption box body is primarily connected with the front supporting plate. According to the method for assembling the automobile back anti-collision beam energy absorption box, when assembling is carried out, the tongue pieces penetrating through the clamping grooves formed in the front supporting plate are bent to form the buckles, the energy absorption box body and the front supporting plate can be primarily connected into a whole, the installation position of the energy absorption box body and the installation position of the front supporting plate can be rapidly determined, follow-up welding connecting fixing can be conveniently carried out on the energy absorption box body and the front supporting plate, the efficiency for assembling the energy absorption box is greatly improved accordingly, and operation is convenient and easy.
