The invention discloses a collision safety chair device with a collision threshold induction function and an operating method of the device. The device is composed of an elastic bi-stability structural component, a gear set, a horizontal H-shaped gear block, a connecting gear block, a connecting rod, a guide rail and a limiting device, wherein both ends of the elastic bi-stability structural component are connected with an automotive chassis, the middle point of the elastic bi-stability structural component is connected with the horizontal H-shaped gear block through the connecting rod, the horizontal H-shaped gear block forms a movement mechanism with single freedom through the gear set and the connecting gear block, and the chair can move along a bi-stability skipping direction through the mechanism. The operating method of the device is that the injury caused due to collision acceleration can be effectively relieved through the device under the counter-acting force of the elastic bi-stability structural component when the automobile generates collision. The collision safety chair device is a pure mechanical structure, fast in response, high in reliability, and strong in anti-jamming capability, and the injury of personnel in the front row in the automobile can be effectively avoided when the automobile generates direct impact or offset impact, thus the collision safety chair device is suitable for many types of automobiles.
