The invention discloses a compact vertical hoisting device, relating to the field of construction equipment of power transformation engineering of a power system. At present, a compact converter valve with a vertical structure is core equipment of a convertor station, and is a high in technical requirement of the equipment, which is ensured by a series of strict quality control, correct and reasonable construction procedures and processes in an installation period. The compact vertical hoisting device is arranged at a lower chord of a roof truss, hoisting tracks are arranged at the lower chord of the roof truss, a plurality of mutually independent monorail cranes are arranged on the hoisting tracks, and can move on the hoisting tracks; a balance hoisting beam is connected onto two monorail cranes on two adjacent tracks in the hoisting tracks, the distance between the balance hoisting beam and a connecting point of the monorail cranes at two ends is equal to that between two adjacent tracks in the hoisting track, and an equipment hoisting frame is connected onto the balance hoisting beam. According to the technical scheme, when the equipment is hoisted, the use effect is good, especially, in a process of installing a valve tower in the multi-end flexible direct-current power transmission power transformation engineering, the labor intensity can be greatly lightened, the construction efficiency is improved, so that the whole valve hall is simple, standard and reasonable to install, and the cost is reduced.
