The present invention relates to the technical field of samplers, and in particular, to a novel push core sampler based on Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) operation. The novel push core sampler comprises a box body, placing slots, sampling cavities, fixed plates and operating rods. A locking mechanism comprises a first sealing ring, a second sealing ring, a first sealing pad, a second sealing pad, limiting slots, first slide rods, slide sleeves, blocking blocks, second slide rods, second springs, pull rods, slide slots and blocking slots. The first sealing ring sleeves the top ends of the outer sides of the fixed plates. The inner wall of the first sealing ring is adhered on the outer walls of the fixed plates. The second sealing pad sleeves the middle portions outside the fixed plates.
