The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence based real time drowsiness detection system using machine learning. The proposed system continuously monitors the driver's facial expressions and detects their facial landmarks to extract their state of expressions. Once it detects such changes system take control of the vehicle and immediately slows down the vehicle and alerts the driver through an alarm. Herein the proposed system Raspberry Pi with an inbuilt camera for real-time frame capturing is adapted and a buzzer is also interfaced to the Raspberry Pi to generate an alarm.
