Abstract We analyze the total intensity (I) and circularly-polarized (V) RATAN-600 radio scans obtained at the 3.3–17.0GHz range during the 23–24 minimum of solar activity. It is found that, in the 3.37–6.8GHz range, the circular polarization varies linearly with the EW position. The slope is measured at different frequencies and different times. The value of the slope for a given frequency varies with time indicating a dependence with P and B solar angles. It is not clear what could be the reason of such behavior. A possible interpretation of this dependence could be made in terms of the variation of the magnetic field component along the line of sight, which plays an important role in the polarized flux observed in the case of Bremsstrahlung emission.
