Abstract This paper shows morphological similarity between aggregates separated from the lunar regolith ultra-fine size fraction and interplanetary dust particles (IDPs) collected in Earth’s stratosphere. It also demonstrates morphological difference between mentioned above and cometary particles from comet Wild 2 collected in the “Stardust” project. Given the number of lunar meteorites found on Earth, the Moon’s proximity to Earth, and its large surface area subject to high energy meteoroid impacts, makes it highly likely that all size spectrum of material ejected from lunar surface may have been grazed by Earth.
