Procedures developed for low speed flight pose problems for pilot in addition to difficulties such as takeoff, transition and pinpoint landing; flight trails with Mach 2 Mirage IV aircraft show that there is little danger of cabin contamination from exhaust gases, and most missions can be flown without oxygen mask; however, it is needed for high altitude work; LF vibrations were not seen as potential hazard; it is recommended that emergency ejection be effected through windshield at low altitudes; damage from shattered glass does not entail serious risks for pilot.
