Flight tests revealed excessive vibration in cabin; source of vibration was aerodynamic in nature, specifically, interference condition between propeller slipstream and stabilizer; surveys of flow at tail indicated that at cruising engine speeds, in level flight, slipstream just bordered on horizontal stabilizer and created vibration in tail unit which was transmitted into fuselage; changes made.
