Term "spatial thickness distribution" used for analysis of missiles with cruciform wings, biplane arrangements, " ring" wings, etc; to simplify investigation, singularity representing element of volume is introduced; it is shown that optimum distribution of such elements in prescribed space gives rise to minimum wave drag value consistent with that obtained for Sears-Haack optimum body of revolution.
