For vehicle-roadway system considered, it is found that camber is beneficial at cruising speeds (30 to 50 mph) but it produces larger rms and maximum pitch displacement at speeds below 30 mph and some undesirable results at speeds beyond 50 mph; these results point out conflicting goals between operating vehicle at speeds above designed cruising speed during heavy traffic load, or at low speeds during adverse weather conditions, and ride comfort of passengers.
