Plant on River Colne at Colchester, engaged in manufacture of heat-insulating materials and building slabs of very light weight, used as raw material Moler earth quarried on islands off coast of Denmark, where, alone in whole world, such earth is found; earth is brought in ships which can navigate Colne right up to works and is there unloaded by large overhead traveling crane; it is delivered by conveyor to crushing mills; particulars of bricks made by this process.
