Thornycroft and Co.; overall length 300 ft.; breadth 29 ft.; molded depth 18 ft. 3 in.; scantlings are based on British Admiralty standards; guaranteed speed of 35 knots; propelling machinery consists of compound turbines, of which high-pressure part is of Brown-Curtis type and low-pressure part is of Parsons type, driving twin screws through Parsons single-reduction gearing.
