Original work of Diesel has been continued by Pawlikowski and fairly successful pulverized-coal engine developed; author emphasizes necessity for greater investigation of pulverized-fuel motor and points out that its ultimate development will admit of cost of running Diesel engine as against oil to be reduced to one quarter.
