The article substantiates the development of a scientific approach to the design of a high-performance heterogeneous computing platform (VGVP) for image processing. As an applied problem for realization on VGVP, the task of image processing in the regime of hard real time, coming through communication channels from diverse specialized information systems, was chosen. The considered scientific approaches realize the concept of creating a multi-module architecture, in which simultaneously several computational modules with a heterogeneous architecture can be processed by information flows. The article shows that heterogeneity, architectural solutions and program mechanisms of interaction of various technologies and technologies. VGVP for heterogeneous parallel-pipeline data processing.
