This paper presents a fuzzy logic PID-controller synthesis method for solid body guidance. For
many nonlinear systems with nonlinearities and uncertainties, the performance of fuzzy controller
type 1 may not be satisfactory. Therefore, in this work, fuzzy logic type 2 controller design is
introduced. These controllers capture the advantage of a linear controller in terms of simplicity and
also can handle nonlinearity because of their inference mechanism.The main feature of the proposed
method constitutes in a membership functions type 2 applications. The membership function type 2
is represented by upper and lower membership functions of type 1. The interval between these two
functions represent the footprint of uncertainty, which give an opportunity to synthesize common
regulator for set of a models. The structure of fuzzy logic controller for solid body control is
grounded. Simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
