Iranian Navy battle ship groups have always been faced with many problems in carrying out offshore missions. In such conditions, improvement of the productivity of employees is a determining and key factor in successful accomplishment of missions by the battle ship groups on offshore missions. This paper tries to explain the factors affecting the promotion of staff productivity in battle ship groups on offshore missions (Gulf of Aden) and its main aim is to determine the factors affecting the promotion of staff productivity of the battle ships group offshore missions. This is an applied research done with the mixed method approach. Data analysis is descriptive and inferential through data gathered from 55 crew members who have been assigned offshore missions (Gulf of Aden). The data was collected from a researcher-made questionnaire and the reliability of questionnaire was calculated as 87% by Cronbach’s alpha coefficient formula. The results showed that a continuation of a productive system, requires measures such as the use of motivational factors, human resource development through implementation of quality education and the right leadership style. Our findings also showed ,at the level of one percent error (01/0 = α), that there is a direct and significant correlation between the affecting factors (motivation, training and leadership style) and the increase in staff productivity of the battle ship groups on offshore missions.
