Currently almost of the public having an own vehicl e,theft is happening on parking and sometimes driv ing insecurity places. The safe of vehicles is extremel y essential for public vehicles. Vehicle tracking a nd locking system installed in the vehicle,to track the place and lo cking engine motor. The place of the vehicle identi fied using Global Positioning system (GPS) and Global system mobile c ommunication (GSM). These systems constantly watch a moving Vehicle and report the status on demand. When the theft identi fied,the responsible person send SMS to the microcontroller,then microcontroller issue the control signals to stop the engine motor. Authorized person need to send the password to controller to restart the vehicle and open the d oor. This project also indicates speed of vehicle which can b e calculated by using distance and time.
