The aim: The aim is to determine and evaluate virtual games exercise effect for elderly people stability and legs function. Methods: To evaluate walking speed was used the Timed Up and Go test, also to evaluate balance was used the Berg Balance Scale and to evaluate muscle strength was used Muscle Strength Grading Scale (Oxford Scale). Foot sensibility was evaluated using monofilament. All20 test subjects were divided into two groups: the AB ,,Eglės“ sanatorium for both groups was designed exercises in gym, 10 subjects who carried out performance tests doing virtual reality exercise by Microsoft Xbox One game console and 10 subjects who carried out performance tests doing exercises in gym. In the both groups subjects performed exercises 1 time a day for 30-40 minutes, altogether 2 weeks. Results was evaluated before research and after 2 weeks. Results:The obtained results by Berg Balance Scale evaluation scale showed that the balance of subjects in the study group and control group not change(p>0,05). After evaluating subjects with test of walking speed by Timed Up and Go test the control group walking speed improved more (p<0,05) than the study group(p>0,05). Also research results showed that after evaluating subjects with Muscle Strength Grading Scale (Oxford Scale) lower extremity muscle strength (left and right legs) not improved in both subjects groups(p>0,05). Conclusion: 1. Virtual reality games and usual exercises in gym was effective for elderly stability. 2. Usual exercise in gym was more effective in walking speed than virtual reality exercises for elderly. 3. Virtual reality exercise was not more effective for lower extremity muscle strength than usual exercises in gym for elderly.
