In order to improve the service level of interchange, with the help of MC5600, the paper investigates the operating speed and car traffic volume at the interchange area of Shenyang-Dalian and Beijing-Shenyang highway, using traffic flow theory, traffic engineering, and other theories for guidance. It continues by carrying on an in-depth study of the data using the method of mathematical statistics and computer technology to analyze the traffic composition and actual capacity of different lanes. Based on this, the paper obtains the operating speed regulations of different truck, percentage of large vehicles though analysis, and establishes traveling capability model of different truck percentage of large vehicles. This provides theoretical evidence for highway network planning, highway design, and highway construction project evaluation scientifically.
