Because of the analysis of interchange traffic noise pollution is not systematic and deep enough in transport project environmental impact appraising, this paper analyzes large-scaly interchange's characteristics from perspective of occupation, capacity, driving speeds, the turning radius of ramps and vehicle operation conditions, and analyzes the impact factors of large-scaly interchange traffic noise from perspective of vehicle density, velocity, vehicle types, driving cycles, pavement material, slopes, distances and obstacles. At last this paper presents that large-scaly interchange has the characteristics of different traffic noise influence due to different location and the scale of interchanges, relative slight single vehicle noise, needing consideration of acceleration and deceleration noise and complexities of noise source, etc.
