Turnout has been a main factor of influencing the stability and comfort of train high-speed running in passenger dedicated railway line. Based on the usage status and problem investigation of several groups of high-speed turnout on certain passenger dedicated railway line, a new method to inspect dynamically the wheelset lateral displacement of high-speed train is promoted in this paper, and some dynamic inspection data are caught on site by this method. The inspection data analysis shows the method is reliable and the results are identical mostly with the simulation results from the wheel-rail dynamic simulation software. Finally, some suggestions to the maintenance of such high-speed turnout are provided.
